Jacobson nominated for Trench Award

Posted Tuesday, October 28, 2008 by Robert Crandall
Stephen Jacobson was nominated for the Trench Award for his work in the Cleveland Hill game.   Congratulations Stephen!!

The award is run and sponsored by Lancaster Elks Lodge #1478, which is a national, charitable organization.

The TRENCH TROPHY is an award geared towards the recognition of high school football players who predominantly play the position of lineman. The award winners are determined by a committee of qualified members, comprised of coaches and former players.

Every week, our scouts attend the games of more then 80 schools to rate and grade players for nominations. At the end of the year, all of the nominated players are eligible for the final award, and are broken down to 10 finalists (from AA, A, B, C, D, Monsignor Martin, and, Harvard Cup), and then one single winner.
